I began my IT journey in 1991 and have worked with Microsoft technologies since 1994. My deep technical expertise and early adoption mindset laid the groundwork for a career that bridges cloud architecture, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation. As the founder and CEO of MindZet—a Microsoft consulting company I established in 2003—this became a defining chapter in my evolution.
Under my leadership, MindZet expanded into managed services and scaled to 70 employees across five locations, including Hong Kong. We won multiple awards from Microsoft, such as Infrastructure Partner of the Year and Best Customer Satisfaction four times. I successfully exited the company in 2016, marking a shift from entrepreneurship to independent consultancy—bringing with me deep experience in organizational growth, business process design, and IT leadership.

What sets me apart is a hybrid approach that blends technical innovation with organizational insight. I am not just a security architect—I am a business enabler. My approach integrates people, processes, and technology, empowering clients to mature not only in infrastructure, but also in mindset. My consulting style is rooted in real-world applicability, helping businesses align their IT maturity with scalable security frameworks and governance models.
As part of this, I have developed advanced methodologies and custom tracks to support Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) implementations—combining architectural depth with clear, actionable process design.

Building a Global Community
Community is the cornerstone of my professional mission. As co-founder of Experts Live Denmark, I have helped create one of the country’s biggest in-person events for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration among Microsoft IT professionals. My reach extends far beyond Denmark, with monthly speaking sessions delivered across international stages, mentorship programs for young professionals, and ongoing engagement with over 15,000 LinkedIn followers.
My influence is not about visibility—it’s about impact. I am known for mentoring early-career professionals, helping them navigate certification paths, project leadership, and career development. My blog and LinkedIn presence consistently share practical, solution-focused insights with a global audience.
Innovating at the Edge with AI and Automation
I continue to innovate at the cutting edge of cloud, security—and recently also with AI. I have created multiple tools for the community, with over 2 million downloads to date.
These tools exemplify my ability to blend AI, security, and automation into elegant, real-world solutions for enterprise environments.
Life Beyond the Screen
Outside of my professional life, I am an avid traveller and adventurer. As a member of ‘De Berejstes Klub’ (Globetrotter), I have visited 62 countries and bring the same curiosity and exploration mindset to my personal life. Together with my wife Anne and our children, Caroline and Magnus, I share a passion for diving, skiing, and outdoor exploration—with all four of us certified as PADI Master Divers, and I am also a Dive Master.
